force at times in Cook and Foveaux Straits. Seas in New Zealand waters rough in Cook and Foveaux Straits; areas elsewhere moderate. Eastern Tasm-an Sea: Moderate- 'to fresh southwest to north-west winds and moderate seas. Weather for th r most part fair to fine, warm and hazy, hint scattered showers at times in Westland und the far south.
