(Our Own Correspondent). REEFTON June 18. The many friends of Air B. I’. MeMahon, of Christchurch, formerly of Reefton. will learn with regret that he is seriously ill at Lewisham Hospital. Word has been received, however. that lu has showed a sli-ht improvement. but his condition is still dangerous. A final dividend* for the year 1932 of one shilling ami sixpence per share has been declared in the Blackwater Alines Ltd. An interm dividend for 1933 of ninepenee per share has been declared bv the Consolidated Gold Fields Ltd. Both are free of income tux. and are buyable on the 30th. June in British currency. The registers of both companies will be closed from the 17th. 1 > the 30th. June. The special train from Christchurch arrived at Reefton vesterda\- morning about, six o’clock. comprising live cars of excursionists. Most. \»f them went on to Westport.
