Runanga proved too strong for Alarist in a hard, fa-st game yesterday at Dunollic. The heavy Runanga pack played a. solid bustling game, and their backs combined well in sonic good passing movements. They were, however, much inclined to move across field. The Alarist ]ads started off well, but Runanga soon secured the upper hand ami put on a good score in the first half. After the change-over Marist defended stubbornly and the game evened up a lot. The scorers for Runanga were: Mundy (three tries a-nd one conversion). Wright (two tries), and Quinn and Greening (a try each). For Marist Turner scored a try. Those prominent for Runanga were 11. The Alarist boys proved too experienced and speedy for the Cobden lads, who, in the main, were light and inexperi- ' eiiced.
