METAL MARKET. LONDON, June 13. Capper, standard £36 6s 3d, £36 10s; electrolytic, £4O 10s, £42 10s; wire bars, £4l 10s per ton; lead £l3 7s 6d, £l3 13s 4d per ton; spelter, spot and forward, £l6 17s 6d; tin, spot or three months, £224 2s 6d per ton; silver Is 7 l-16d per standard oz. 21d per fine oz.

SHEEP PRICES GOOD. SYDNEY, June 15. Reports arriving here show that market prices for mutton, lamb and sheep in Australia are the highest for two years. They look like going much higher.

WOOL PRICES IMPROVE. SYDNEY, June 15. At the wool sales 8,309 bales were offered, and 7,775 sold, 3,484 privately. I The market closed extremely firm with prices in sellers’ favour. At the best point of the series greasy merino made 16|d. The average price in the first three days this week was £l2 0s 8d per bale, or 9s lid per pound. The auction is now off till August 28th.
