GOOD BIRTHDAY GIFT
Restored to Solicitor’s Roll AFTER THIRTY-EIGHT YEARS. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received June 15 at 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 15. The Full Court to-day restored to the 801 l of Solicitors, Thomas Ernest Bofe. a prominent citizen, whose najne was removed from tho roll thirty-eight years ago, after a conviction for conspiracy* to pervert the course of justice in a notable divorce suit, in which concocted evidence of misconduct was brought against Airs Mary Butler. The Chief Justice said the court exonerated Air Bofe from any suggestion that he was a party to the preparation of concocted evidence. Air Rofe, at that time, was at a disadvantage, because there was not a court of criminal appeal. He is 64 years of age to-day. He declared it the finest birthdav gift he had ever received.
