(Our Own Correspondent.) Cliristcliurcli Excursion to Westport. WESTPORT, June 14. It is generally expected that many! excursionists will take advantage of the cheap rates from Christchurch this week-end to enjoy a trip through the Buller Gorge. Tin* excursion has been arranged in conjunction with the poultry show in "Westport and no doubt many of the- visitors wil] find plenty to occupy their time during their short stay. Thp trip has not received much booming this end and it looks as if more could have been done to make the project a complete success.
