Erii- Barbour, a leading cricket authority in Sydney, writing to the Sydney “Alorning Herald,” says: — “We have to tha.uk the Board of Control for its masterly inactivity. In allowing Alarylebone to frame a report on the body-line bowling, solely from the evidence of its own men. In that, respect Alarylebone has run true to form. 'Flip Board of Control here has been guilty of neglect in a primary duly to maintain the dignity of Australian cricket and has allowed the minds of the ALC.C. to bo distracted between a sense of lovalty and a sense of duty to the game. ALC.C. Ims been swayed by the reports of Wa-rner, Palairot, and Jardine, into an attitude from which it will find it diflieult to withdraw. ’ ’ MELBOURNE. June 11.
