'l'he weather report and forecast are as follows:—General situation: A little change in pressure distribution, except for the movement of a slight low pressure wave along the southern edge oi an anti-cyclone covering the Tasman ami New Zealand. Forecast: Winds light to moderate south-easterly north of New Plymouth and Napier; else where moderate* but freshening westerly winds backing later to southerly. Seas (N.Z. waters): Still some swell between Kaikoura and East Capo; rough in Foveatix Strait; elsewhere, smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light variable winds in the northern portion and moderate to strong uest to south-west winds in the sontlidm portion; seas smooth to moderate. Weather: for the most part fair to fine. Still some showers in the tar north, north-east and southernmost districts. Cold night temperatures. with early morning fogs
