£3OO in Silver Found TO BE RETURNED TO N.Z. SYDNEY, June 12. The detectives who searched the Wanganella on Sunday discovered £3OO worth of siher in a parcel, which is being returned to the Dominiq/i under instructions to the New Zealand police. IMPROVEMENT IN N.S.W. SYDNEY. June. H Since the New South Wales Govern incut was elected twelve months ago. unemployment has been reduced by twenty-five per cent., the dole relief has been reduced fifty per cent., and the Government indebtedness overseas brought down by more than a million sterling annually. It is further announced that in the ensuing twelve months, over seven million pounds will be devoted to unemployment relief works, which it is hoped will still further stimulate busi ness activity. The Commonwealth Government announces the intention to make a spe rial grant of £300,000 to the smaller Stales, apart from their share of the finance provided by the Bank.
