French Premier’s Policy HOPES FOR SUCCESS. (Au«. & N.Z Cable Assn.) (Received June 11 at 10.10 p.m.) PARIS, June 9. Al. Daladier, the French Premier, informed the Chamber of Deputies that he intends to do his utmost to promote the success of the AVorld Conference. France did not consider that the manipulation of gold would solve the currency problems. This must be the outcome of those countries which had abandoned the gold standard agreeing to stabilisation. There must be a concerted production policy with all countries. France would adhere Io the forty hour week if the other Powers decided for it. He supported public works as the remedy for unemployment.
