WIRELESS CONVERSATION. LONDON. June 8. The ’‘Daily Telegraph's” Da rjecl ing correspondent says; Wireless operators attached Io the Everest expedition achieved a remarkable transmission on Wednesday. when they called up Government House, where Hie Governor of Bengal conversed with ishebbearo and Frank Smythe, at the l>a>e camp. Shebboam* said that all members of Hie expi'dition were in good health. Smythe said it must not be thought that they were beaten yet. The Governor replied that he was following the progress of the climbers v. ilh the greatest admiration, and wished them success.
