AEROPLANE PATROL
GUN RUNNING RUMOURS. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received June 9 at 7.3. p.m.) TjONDON, June 9. The appearance of both Free State and British aeroplanes, apparently patrolling the Southern Irish k Coast, revived rumours of extensive gun running. A Cork correspondent reports that there is unwonted, military activity, and 'official reticence. It is recalled that the Minister of Justice was questioned in the Dail last week, respecting an incident in West Cork, where seventy men armed with new rifles and two lewis guns, alleged-
ly occupied an isolated} village during tho week-end for the purpose of drilling. The Alinister replied that the police wore inquiring into th© matter.
