CHINESE GAMING HOUSE. (Per Press Association’ WELLINGTON. June 8. As the result of police raids, yesterday, eight Europeans were each fined £3, with costs. 10s, to-day, for being unlawfully on premises used as common gaming houses. Charges against nine Chinese were remanded, on the application of the appearing counsel, who said he had not had time to go fully into the matter.
