Lloyd George, has returned here after a walking tour through the Ukraine. He. declares that Russia, is crippled by a. famine which is as disastrous as that of 1921. when millions died. Mr Jones said the arrests of the Vickers employees was tho outcome of a panic, due to these famine conditions. He stated that one million have already perished in Kazakstan. He adds that the most hated man in Russia. next to Stalin, is Bernard Shaw, owing to his assertion that food is plentiful there.
