SUPERANNUATION. WELLINGTON, December 7. Evidence on behalf of the Superannuated Public Service Association was given to the Select Committee this morning. Air Wright, President, said tho subscribers had been compelled to contribute under their contracts and accordingly claimed as the right the benefits already granted. He suggested that the Government should discharge its present indebtedness to the funds by the issue of inscribed stock. Statements were also made on behalf of superannuated teachers by Air Caughley, and for superannuated railway servants by Air Ryan.
