British Concession CANCELLATION TO BE RESISTED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received December 16 at 5.51 p.m.) RRUGBY, December 5, The action of the Persian Government in cancelling the Anglo-Persian Oil Coy’s, concession on November 27 was the subject of several questions in Parliament. Captain Eden, replying for the Government said that the British Government were fully aware of all of the circumstances, including th© fact that tho Coy’s. concession had definitely been granted for a period of GO years as from 1901, and that it contained no provision for cancellation. On December 2, he said, the British Minister at Teheran had made the strongest representations to the Persian Government, emphasising that a very serious view was held by tho British Government, and adding that; while it was still hoped that the matter might be amicably settled, the British Government would not hesitate in case of need, to take all legitimate measures to protect its just, and indisputable interests
