U.S.A. STOWAWAYS
TRANSFERRED IN MID-OCEAN. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, December 5. Shortly after tho Matson liner, Monterey. which arrived at Auckland 'today, left Los Angeles, two young men, who had hidden in an empty stateroom, were discovered. Tho master. Captain A. G. Townsend, got in touch with the liner “Malolo” by wireless, and the two ships met, by arrangement. at a p‘*!Wt midway between Lt-s Angeles and Honolulu. Tho weather was fine, ami no trouble was experienced in transferring the stowaways from tho Monterey to the Malolo, which was bound for America.
