SHORT WAVE RADIO
GREAT POSSIBILITIES. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, December 1. Lecturing in London, Chevalier Marconi revealed that his recent short wave radio experiments resulted in communication over a distance of 168 miles, or 57 centimetres wave length. He said that the possibilities of the ultra short waves were immense, as these were not affected by fog, and gave a high degree of secrecy. He was considering their application to broadcasting television.
