The Bishop of Nelson (Dr Sadlier) preached tho sermon. There was a. large attendant o SUICIDE FOLLOWS DISCLOSURES. INVERCARGILL, December 5. An inquest was held today into the death of Albert Joseph Donovan, single, aged IL who was found dead on November Bth, shortly u'fter an inquest was held into llio death id’ Hector Aitken. The police stated that b'twecn the time of Aitken’s disappearance and his own death, Donovan appeared to bo vtTV worried ns to his association with a girl. Disclosures, it was stated, had upset him, and the prospect of publicity had led him to take his life. The Coroner returned a verdict that Donovan’s death was du • to poisoning, self administered, while in a statu of mental agitation. FARMER KILLED. CHRISTCHURCH, December 5. Thomas Engelbrecht, aged 61, a married man, was killed on his farm at Kaiapbi this morning, when a loaded dray ran over him. The horse bolted as Engelbrecht was climbing o n to the dray, and a wheel passed over him.
