Black, of Hamilton, broke the the two' qualifying - rounds for the course record, and headed the list in Winter Cup competition, now proceeding at the Hutt Golf Club’s annual Tournament. His rounds were 7U/78, total 14S. 11. A. Black, of Miramar, 79/72, 151. was second. Sime (Westport) 80/7S, was iifth. F. C. Fryer 164, H. E. Troutbeck 165 (both of Napier) were seventh ami eighth.
