To-day the House recorded its high " sense of the faithful services rendered New Zealand by four ex-members of the House, William Pember Reeves, Tuiti Makitanara, Edward Henry Clark, and Hugh Sutherland Valentine, who had died during the recess. Tributes to their memory were paid by * speakers on all sides of the House, and, as a mark of respect, the House adjourned until 2.30 p.m, on Tuesday.
