SEAMAN GAOLED
FOR DRIVING CAR WHILE TIPSY. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, September 19. A sentence of months’ imprisonment, without the optio n ©f a fine, was imposed by Mr Woodward, S.M., today, on Ludwig Sigurd Larsen a seaman labourer, aged 37 years, for being intoxicated while in charge of a car. Larsen was als© debarred, from holding a license for a year. H© was convict ed and discharged for having no driving license, and on a charge of assault, h© wa s remanded for a week.
