He bears a bright appearance and his let up since the Great Northern meeting, where his form was very creditable, seems to have been very beneficial. Although heavy weights will always be against Tradesman. he promises to make matters interesting in the principal sprint events at the Avondale meeting and other fixtures in the near future. All Supreme, trained at ’Wanganui, looks one who will win his way out of the maiden class in the near future. His recent track work has been very good. He has been working with that speedy filly, Head and on more than one occasion he has been too good for her. These work-outs are a sound indication that he posseses speed above the average. Re is engaged at Wanganui and is worth .i good deal of consideration. Muff, who ■won at her only start at the National meeting, has trained on nicely since. Her work on the whole has been 'attractive and het . mile and a quarter gallop a few days' ago was one of the. best ever put up on the Riccarton ’tracks. Plenty of trainers of class horses would be more than pleased with such a good trial. Muff is one of the most promising stayers of her age and sex seen down this way for some time. The red jacket, black and white hoops, sleeves and red cap, famous colours of the famous Phar Lap, were brought to Auckland on Monday by Mr and Mrs R. Gearin, of Sydnev, who delivered them to Mr Ronald A McLean, of Auckland, from Mr D. J. Davis, owner of Phar Lap. It is believed that the colours will be worn by the three-year-old gelding Pillow Fight.

Volimond will be a To Aroha candidate for racing at the Avondale meeting. The Limond—Tivoli marc is reported to be making good progress ■with her training.
