At Eastbourne, in the Anglo-Ameri-can match, Austin defeated Margin 6/1, 6/3, 9/7. Wood beat Olliff 3/6, 6/4, 6/4, 6/1. According to a Cologne message, Fraulein Aussem is not defending her title at Wimbleton, as she • has been ordered rest.
