GREY BRANCH MEETING The monthly meeting of the Greymouth Branch of the Blanket Society was held yesterday afternoon. Pre sent: Mesdames Aiderton (Chair). Smith, Trott, Meld rum. Mosley, Mow att and McGlashan (acting secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Dennehy, McLean, Bird, Wilkinson. Boyd. Robertson and Hes. The Central Council wrote regarding the levy payable by each branch towards the superannuation fund for the three months ending March 1931’. ■ —lt was resolved that this levy amounting to £6/11/2 be paid. The Council also wrote regarding regular publishing of “Our Bodies Column.” The Central Council wrote regarding the revision of annual railway passes for nurses, asking for particulars of all railway travelling done by the nurses in the course of their duties. The annual report and balance sheet were returned by the Council, and sire now ready for printing It was resolved that the annual meeting be held on Wednesday, Jum* Ist. Arrangements for the annual ball to be held on Thursday next, were reported to be now well in hand, and the wish was expressed that the dancing public would come forward and do their part to make the ball a pronounced success. The nurse’s report for April, which is as follows, was adopted:—Visits to home, new cases 24, old cases 63. total 87; visits to office, adults 208. babies 151, older children 43, total 402.
