INDUSTRIALISTS’ PROPAGANDA. LONDON. April 29. “The opportunity must be seized at Ottawa to adopt a common Empire monetary industrial policy, designed to facilitate co-operationwith other countries . with the sterling group,” says the Federation of British Industries’ rep'ort on industry and monetary policy just issued. The report says: The time has come to end the policy of lending British sewings to reconstruct European rivals’ industrial systems, and to se e they are devoted exclusively to British Empire industries. The British monetary policy, freed from the shackles of the mismanaged gold standard, must now adopt a new plan, based on a, comniercial industrial policy, and should aim at raising sterling p'rices to a figure whereat production is profitable.
