Tn the evening at the Rimu Town Hall a grand Old Time Ball will be held, when music will be supplied by the Ross Orchestra. Dancing will be strictly old time, and Mr R. From the number of invitations in circulation there is promise of a record gathering, including many old residents who wore associated with the early days of Rimu. The foregoing is only a brief outline of the functions arranged and it behoves all who can to attend and make the festive day one to be remembered. Jubilees occur only once in a while and Rimu’s birthday should be a good way of forgetting the depression, even if it only for one day.
