Argyle Road, in the Bombay dock area, was the scene of a commotion, when two hundred Pathans attacked a meeting of dock strikers and beg:.;: assaulting people indiscriminately. The Pathans had been working at the docks since the strike began. They used bottles and other missiles. A number of strikers and passers-by were injured.
