WILL ART UNIONS CEASE?
CABINET REVIEWING POSITION. One of the minor problems in political circles at the present time concerns the future of Art Unions. There has been a hold-up in tho issue of further permits, the current ‘ ‘ Happy Days” £4OOO Art Union being the last one that has so far been authorised, ft is even suggested that there is likelihood of no further permits beimt issued, and it will be interesting to see how the Government views the possible loss of a revenue of £BOO a week, which it now reaps from Art Unions.
