The Greymouth Jockey Club’s second autumn meeting at Omoto to-morrow, has attracted exceptionally good fields, with quite a number of fresh gallopers and trotters, so that, given a fin * day, a successful meeting should result.

In addition to the local and visiting horses that competed last Saturday at Omoto, and abo at Kumara and Hokitika, there are others arriving to-day from Canterbury, Westport and Reefton. J. W. Jennings had Arrowmaid and Grand Acre sent over from Riccarton yesterday, whilst Taku Tama, Mon. astic (C. McCarthy) and Homecoming will arrive from Riccarto n this morning. Booster and Fair Go will arrive to-day from Westport and Awamutu has recovered from the soreness he developed at Westport and will be competing, whilst Full Crop, who has been forced to have a let up, will be saddled up for the sprints. Earthquake comes over from R’ccarton to-day to contest (he President’s Handicap.

New trotters will be Fairhead, Autowin, Town Crier, Christchurch horses, which have accepted, and they will definitely arrive at Greymouth this morning, whilst Great Thought (Reefion) anj Travis Thorn (Westport) will be brought to Greymouth to-day. Travis Thorn who went off last week, has been working well during the present week and it has now bean decided to make the trip with him to Greymouth.
