The weather report and forecast are a.s follows:—-General situation: An intense anti-cyclone still covers the New Zealand area, but a slight wave of lower pressure is passing. Forecast: Wnds light to moderate and variable, with northerlies prevailing. Seas (N.Z. waters): Smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to moderate northerly winds, and smooth to moderate seas. Weather: Fine generally, with cool night, but warm day temperatures.
