FOR AUSTRALIAN TOURISTS. (Ans. & N.Z. Cable Assn). (Received March 14 at 7 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 14. The sight of real snow in the heart of Sydney is a. novelty furnished for thousands of interested people by the New Zealand Government Tourist Office windows. The Martin Place front of the office exhibits a fine depictio n of the scenic resorts in the Tongariro National Park. There is a frozen lake in the centre, surrounded by snowfields, and backed by glittering mountains. There are realistic marionettes ’engaged in winter games, while an electric train traverses the snowfields and disappears in a mountain tunnel. The Pitt Street front of the office shows a finely executed and colourful diagrammatic representation of the South Island fiord and mountain scenery.
