Tennyson’s English cricketers yesterday averted the possibility of an innings defeat in their final match against the Colony of Jamaica. The latter’s first innings ended for 561. Tennyson’s team had scored 212 for the loss of four wickets in the second innings when play ended for the day. In the first innings the visitors made 333.
