TO ATTEND SYDNEY BRIDGE OPENING. WELLINGTON, February 18. Mr Forbes said to-day that the Government will not be ministerially represented at the opening of the Sydney Bridge. An invitation has been ■ extended to him to be present, and to travel to Sydney on the Diomede. Mr Forbes said that owing to the opening of Parliament and to the conditions prevailing in the Dominion, he had been forced to decline the invitation. It would not be possible for any other member of the Cabinet, to attend the opening.
