CONTINUES IN U.S.A. Signs of Higher Prices (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assnj. (Received February 17 at 9 p.m.) NEW Y r ORK, February 16. The recent upward movement of prices on the. Stock Exchange has continued, as u number of factors, and notably the improved wheat prices have combined to offer support to the market. To-day’ the dealing was broader than at any recent session, many issues which had been extremely quiet, suddenly coming to life. There is much more cheerful news concerning American domestic railway traffic. which has aided the market, while reports from Washington asserted that President Hoover has expressed pleasure at the apparent return to circulation of some thirty-four million dollars ffom hoarding within the past few davs.
