Forecast:' Moderate to strong ; northerly winds, -of gale force-at places south o.- New - Plymouth- and Castlep’oin t. Sea s -(N.Z. -wafeefs): -Bough about Cook and Foveaux - Straits; elsewhere smooth to moderate; but rising south of Cape Egmont. Eastern Tasman Sea: Increasing northerly wfnd s and rising seas. Weather becoming dull generally, with much mist and in places, fog. Rain is probable .on the West Coast of the Sohlth Island, -and is becoming fairly general within, the next 24 to 36 hours:.. ‘Temperatures mild to warm.
