SYDNEY ROBBERY
£lOOO BRACELET. (Received November 9 at 9.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 9. An audacious daylight robbery occurred at noon at a leading jeweller’s in George Street, Sydney. Two young men broke a plate-glass window with a brick, and stole a twenly-three-stonc diamond bracelet. The ithieves attempted to escape by mingling with the shopping crowds, but one was captured. The other escaped, and he was the one with the bracelet, which constituted the first prize, valued a,t one thousand pounds at a forthcoming Hospital Art Union.
