MEETING TO-DAY Cabinet Draft King’s Speech (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, November 7. When the new Cabinet meets for the first time on Monday, after the members have received the seals of office from the King, the main business will be giving approval to the terms of the King’s Speech to be delivered at the State opening Of Parliament on Tuesday. It is anticipated that the speech will bo .quite brief, and will emphasise the Government’s intention to concentrate on the restoration of the country’s economic and financial position, and seek a settlement of international problems. MR THOMAS’S TRIP. LONDON, November 9. The “News Chronicle” says that Mr J. H. Thomas (Secretary for the Dominions) begins an Empire tour in mid-December, first visiting South Africa, and then Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
