The weather report and forecast are as follows: — General situation: An intense anti-cyclone still extends from the south of Tasmania to the South Island. A very slight low pressure wave has. however, been passing to-day. Forecast: Moderate to fresh south to
southeast winds. Seas (N.Z. waters): Smooth to moderate. Tasman Sea: Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, and moderate seas in the Eastern Tasman. Weather for the most part fine, and still cool, with some night frosts. Scattered showers on the const south from Timaru, about East Cape, and in the Far North.
