i Railway Orders I MR HOLLAND’S QUERY. | ('Special to Argus). WELLINGTON, October 22. In tlho House to-day, Mr H. E. Holland disked, the Minister oi Railways whether it was a fact that the Railway Department was withholding orders from the State Mine, and, if so, whether he would endeavour to have the- orders as in the- case' of the other mines.
Mr Holland said that his information was that, whereas, previously the [railways were taking 25(1 tons per week from -the States Mines, they ■ were* now taking only ten tons.
Hon. Mr Veitch sa-d that ii was a fact that t lie quality of coal the Railway Department had been taking had btfu considerably reduced*. The matter of the Department taking more coal from the State Mines was at' present the subject of discussion.
