ST. JOHN’S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
SACRED CANTATA, Lovers of sacred music will be catered for when the choir of the above mentioned church, under the conductorship of Mr A. McMaster, wi l ! present Geo. F. Root’s cantata, (1 Faith Triumphant”. This work is considered one of the gems of sacred cantatas, and its rendition will indeed be mo r -t pleasing and inspiring. For the purposes of this cantata, the choir has been specially augmented and something special may be looked for from the parties engaged. Those taking the ! leading parts are afis«es Adkins, Warnes. Kitehingham. N. Tennent. Mrs Rosewall. Messrs F. Smith, A. Airns, J. Hruerton, E. Rosowall, TI. Anderson. F. Tabb. T. Tennent. There will be 30 voices in the choir. Miss B. Drake is the organist.
