Greymouth Club’s Exhibition YESTERDAY’S AWARDS. The Greyuiouth Poultry Club’s Seventh Annual Show, was opened nt the Drill Hall yesterday, by His Worship the Mayor, Mr J. AV. ‘ Green?*la i<*. Inc exhibition comprises poul-t'-y, pigeons, canaries, cats and rabluts, and both in quality and quantity, is the most successful one that has bc.-n experienced by the Club. Record entries have been drawn in practically every class, and there arc some particularly line specimens of birds both in the utility and game sections. Ln the former. Leghorns, numerically, dominate any of the other breeds', but. excellent entries have been also received in the Black Orpington, Rhode Island Red and -Minorca classes. A pleasing ’feature •is the fart that the duck section has drawn an exceptionally large number of entries. The Game class has attracted some magnificent entires, a* also have the pigeons. The canary section has filled up well, and in this class there is a good variety of Ihe songsters. The Show will be continued this afternoon, when the cats and rabbits •will be judged, and in the evening The displays art except tonally inter osting. and well repay a visit.
