COLLISION WITH TRAM. Inquest on Victims. (Per Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, April 25. An inquest into the deaths of Rob ert George Webb Bugg, aged 33, single, and Alexander Candlish 46, married, who were killed when a motor cycle they were riding, collided with a train in Opawa Road on the Mvening of April 10, was concluded to-day. •The evidence was that the motor cycle carried no light, and that the men should have had a clear view of the tram, for two or three chains. They had bu'en stopped by a constable earlier in the evening for riding without a light. The motor-cycle was travelling about 35 miles per hour. An eye-witness stated that just before the crash, thi' driver of the cycle appeared to be turning round speaking to the pillion rider.

MISHAPS AT WANGANUI. WANGANUI, April 25. Victims of motor accidents were admitted to the Wanganui Hospital to-day. Roy Field, rider of a motorcycle, which collided with a car, received a broken leg. Thomas Fisher, a passenger in a car which overturned at Bulls through a tyre bursting, received chest injuries, which were not serious.
