Seamen’s Federation. AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND AND CANADA. VANCOUVER, April 23. Negotiations instituted by the Fedefial Seamen’s Union of Australia and New Zealand, with a view to forming an alliancA with the Federated Seamen’s Uni(on of Canada, ha.vc been ratified by Canadian headquarters. A conference will be held at Vancouver to work out the details, 'and is to be attended by all tW organisations con cerned. A possible amalgamation has caused some agitation, in Canadian marine affairs, as the Union would reinforce the Canadians in a fight for higher wages <;nd better living condtions on Canadian ships. In return for this support, the Canadians ar.e prepared to care for members of the Antipodehm Unions stranded here, or in the hospital.
