ADDINGTON MARKET Yesterday‘s Prices LATE EATES MAINTAINED. (Special to Argus.) CHRISTCHURCH, April IG. Messrs H. Matson and Coy report that the rang e of prices realised at to day’s stock sale at Addington is as follows:— Fat Cattle—There was another large yarding. Best steers were firm at laic rates, and cow and heifer beef was easier. Extra heavy steers realised £9 10s to £2l 15s, special to £2l •’s Gd, heavy £l7 t o £lB 15s, handy weights £l5 5s to £l6 15s medium £l3 to £l4 15s, light £ll to £l3 ss; cows, ex.ra heavy £l4 5s to £l5 17 s Gd, prime £9 to £lO 10s, medium £7 15s to £8 15s. inferior £5 to £7 ss. Store Sheep—There was a large yar ding; store lambs, forward sorts, selling firm; and owe lambs selling at ’are rates. Adult sheep were a shade firmer, especially for the better class oi ewer ami wethers. Fat Sheep—A larg e yarding, mostly ewes. This market opened on a par with last week, with an easing tend ency. Extra prime ewes made to 425, good prime 33s to 37s Id, medium 29s Gd to 325, inferior from 27s extra prime ewes to 31s 4d, prime 26s to 29s Gd, medium 21s Gd t ? 24s 64, light from 19s.
