WHEREAS by notice published in the 9New Zealand Gazette,” No. 99, of the 9th December, 1920, the Borough •of Greymouth and the Town District of Cobden, were,..pursuant to the provisions o£ Section 10 (6) of “The Shops and Offices Act, 1908,” declared to be a combined district for the purposes of that. Act, notice is hereby given that a poll of the Electors of the said Combined District, will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the Ist day of May, 1929, to determine which working day of the week shall be observed as the statutory closing day within •he said Combined District.
