In their first innings Cobden made 85, and in their second strike hit up 127 for the loss of five wickets. Marist B made 42 in their first innings, and 52 in their second. For Cobden, Baird scored 43 not out, Barbara 33, i\nd Sexton 21 not out. Stephens secured highest score for Marist B in both innings, getting 17 and 14. third grade. At Victoria Park yesterday the Marist eleven defeated Runanga on the first innings by a small margin of runs. The scores were:—
