COLLIER FOUNDERS.
SIX MEN MISSING. (Received February 10 at 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 10. There is no sign of the six missing members of the crew of a small collier, the Annie Miller, which founder--1 e<l about 7.45 on Frnday night, six miles south-east of Sydney Heads. A pilot vessel, Captain Cook, picked up six of the crew, who were being tossed in the angry sea. in a lifeboa'. Six otheres ar c missing, the search continuing. The South Heads lighthouse-keeper sighted the collie r half an hour before foundering. He suddenly missed it, then saw the rockets. The vessel, according to the survivors’ stories, capsized and sank witnin eight minutes. One man was in a bunk, when he was thrown ou' on to the deck, and then plunged into the water. He was later picked up by a boat. The six men in the boat were almost •xhau ted* when rescend by the pilot steamer. It is now thought that some of those missing were trapped in the bunks and drowned. They are Captain Pilling. John Wilson, E. Rowera, Andrew Anderson, H. Andrews and P. Brennan. LATER. Wreckage is coming ashore, but there is n 0 sign of the six men.
