ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
SAWMILL FATALITY. INVERCARGILL, February 8. An inquest was held at Riverton today concerning the death of John Cameron, who died in Wallace Hospital, on Tuesday, from injuries received in a sawmill at Papatotara the previous day. From the evidence it appears that deceased, who was attending to an engine, was struck on the head by some moving force. A verdict was returned that deceased died as the result of injuries sustained while working at a mill.
