The National Bunk of New Zealand has received a cablegram from Lou don advising that the Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of 12 p.ir cent per annum for the ha.i year ended September 30 last. Thl? is thu same as for the corresponding period last year, and, will be paid in the Dominion on January 5. In consequence of the death of Mi 1 G. . Mclntosh, Mr J. T. If it is found impossible for the. companies to- obtain any amelioration 'of the present oppressive conditions, the question or a revision of freights will further be considered.
